Press release from the City of Oklahoma City: March 2, 2021 A portion of the Oklahoma River Trail will be closed starting Monday, March 8 so crews can dredge sediment from the Oklahoma River. The trail will be closed between May Ave to I-44 on the south riverbank. It's expected to remain closed until May 12. A map of the closure is available online at okc.gov/parks. Crews will place detour signs to route trail users around the closure. OKC Parks manages the City's trail system. Visit okc.gov/parks for more about our parks and recreation amenities.
