SINCE 1964 SERVICAR HAS SERVICED THE METRO DETROIT AREA AND OUR FRIENDLY STAFF MAKES YOU FEEL APPRECIATED EVERYDAY. WE TRANSPORT FOR SCHOOLS AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS. POSITIONS AVAILABLE: -MINI-VAN DRIVERS/SHUTTLE DRIVERS - Training available, will need to pass criminal background checks, drug screening, physicals, and obtain a chauffer's license. Monday - Friday Schedules daily routes (approx. 4-6 hours per day). $10.91 per hour -SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS - Training available, will need to pass driving and criminal background checks, drug screens, physicals, and obtain a CDL-B. All bus routes stay within the tri-county area, Monday - Friday, (approx. 25-35 hours per week. Daily routes and additional hours can be earning doing fieldtrips and sport events). $15.51 per hour. -EVENT SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS- Training available, will need to pass driving test and criminal background check, drugs screens, physicals, and obtain a CDL-B. Event trips are scheduled week in advance and are schedule 5 days a week, except in high seasons. (approx. 25- 35 hours per week, overtime available.) $14.79 per hour, plus paid meals of $4.25 for a 5 hour trip. -AIDES - RIDE AND ASSIST STUDENTS ON BUS- Training available, will need to pass criminal background check, drug screens, and physical. Monday - Friday (approx. 25-35 hours per week. Daily routes) $10.30 per hour. GREAT JOB FOR STUDENT OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE AND COLLEGE STUDENTS. -UTILITY PERSON and/or APPRENTICE MECHANICS- Part-time or Full-time available. Assistant to mechanics and general maintenance to vehicles and building. Train with Master Mechanic Foreman. Monday through Friday, Day shifts. Uniforms provided and benefits available. $10.73 up to $19.11 in just a few month, PLUS INCENTIVE PAY for mechanical certification or earned during apprenticeship. Will train for a CDL-B, physical, drug and alcohol screening and random testing and criminal background check. -MECHANICS - Part-time and full-time available. Mechanic for gas/diesel engines and general maintenance to vehicles and building. Monday through Friday, Day shifts and train with Foremen for start up. Uniforms provided, tool allowance, you can bring in your own tools and they are insured, health/life insurance benefits, holiday and leave day pay. Need CDL-B, will train and drug and alcohol screening, random testing and criminal background check. Base rate $19.11 per hour. PLUS up to additional $1.10 per hour for State of Michigan or A.S.E certifications. Also, additional $0.17cents per hour for EACH Heavy Duty Truck Certification.
