Growing Grading and Paving Construction Company looking for Skilled Asphalt Raker Growing family owned and operated construction company specializing in grading and paving has an immediate opening for a motivated full-time Asphalt Raker with great pay! To apply: Call (619) 334-0613, Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Work Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, some weekends Salary: To be determined depending on experience Location: Locally based in Santee, CA (San Diego County) Basic Duties (but not limited to): • Perform all aspects of asphalting paving such as shovel, rake, sweep, tack, clean, etc. • Seal coating and striping. • Operate and care for construction equipment and machines. • Help equipment operator, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary. • Load or unload construction materials. • Remove, fill, or compact earth. • Follow instructions from supervisors. • Perform site clean-up as required. • Perform other tasks as necessary. General Requirements: • Experience in operating roller, skid steer, and skip loader. • Experience in site construction activities. • Must have valid driver license with clean record. • Be at least 18 years of age. • High school diploma. • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. • Ability to work in all weather conditions. • Workers must be punctual and reliable. • Must have a minimum of 2 years in asphalt construction. • Flexibility to work overtime and/or weekends as needed • Confirmation of citizenship/legal right to work in the United States • Completion of a pre-employment medical review/exam (including drug/alcohol testing) • 40hr Hazwoper training and OSHA 30 certification desired.
