A short drive to help deliver these needed items to local organizations. Heart of West Michigan United Way is expecting thousands of donated toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other basic needs items during our annual Bring the Basics collection drive. Members of our Young Leaders Society (YLS) have sorted these donations, and they’re ready for us to distribute to local agencies. Arrive at Heart of West Michigan United Way’s downtown office, 118 Commerce Ave SW in Grand Rapids, at your scheduled time, and we’ll load your car up with donations. Plan on having a completely empty car with seats folded down for maximum capacity. You’ll receive the agency’s location after signing up, and we’ll have it available when you pick the items up, as well.
