We are bringing back the best week of the year! Amazing teaching, sunshine, fellowship, and beach fun, here we come! Oceans 6 summer conference will be an incredible time as RUFs from Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, MS State, Southern Miss and the University of Florida join together at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat! The conference will include 4 nights at the beach, a speaker/seminars, lots of free time on the beach and friendly competitions between the schools. *We will comply with Laguna Beach as well as Panama City Beach's Covid rules and regulations. Please see guidelines below. COVID Rules and Regulations Both Laguna Beach and RUF have your health in mind and we want to assure you we are doing everything in our power to mitigate against the risks of putting on this event. We understand that coming is still a risk and we want to let you know we will have rules and regulations that keep with the University’s COVID rules. From RUF: **If you have symptoms, have tested positive for COVID, or are awaiting back test results from direct exposure you will not be able to come on the retreat** From Laguna Beach Christian Retreat: Our part: Ensure your accommodations are cleaned and sanitized upon arrival using EPA approved products for COVID-19 Provide hand sanitizer dispensers at common areas of the campus Provide signage encouraging guests to follow CDC guidelines Our staff will wear mask and gloves when entering your unit Food service staff will were a mask and gloves while serving your group Your part: Ensure participants do not come if they have COVID-19 symptoms as defined by the CDC. We are suggesting groups perform temperature checks on all participants before leaving for the retreat. We highly discourage you from bringing participants who are considered high risk or have underlying medical conditions defined by the CDC. Bring hand soap and hand sanitizer to camp and encourage your group to use these items and practice good hygiene practices as defined by the CDC Be prepared and have a plan if one of your participants has flu like symptoms. This would include isolating the individual in one of your units. Keep your group together. Do not mingle with outside groups.
