Our Middle School Yoga and Mindfulness Class for Girls in grades 5 to 8, approximately ages 10 - 13 is an opportunity to explore and learn yoga in a supportive, fun environment.
In this class designed specifically for the busy girl, you will learn how to:
~ Safely test your agility while becoming stronger, more flexible and toned.
~ Build confidence and apply breath and other techniques to relax and be calm
~ Apply healthy techniques to relax which helps to manage the daily pressures and challenges of busy lives.
Led by experienced yoga and mindfulness instructor and educator, Tracy Affonso, you will practice in a supportive environment and there will be an opportunity to learn relaxation techniques and poses to calm the body and mind. Class will end with a relaxation period that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.
Yoga is for everybody; no particular fitness level or experience level is necessary.
DETAILS ABOUT THE IN-STUDIO OPTION:
> Masks required at all times for all (teacher, students, staff)
> Students spaced more than 6 feet apart
> Bring your own props - no studio props available at this time.

Class will also be on Zoom for those who want to attend from home but if you sign up for In-Studio, the expectation is that is your spot as we often have people on a waitlist for the In-Studio option.
