ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR Where: Bangor Sub-Base Commissary Type: Full Time, Regular Employee, Non-Exempt Wage: $ 21.50 + health & welfare benefits Benefits: paid sick leave, vacation, and 401(k) Work Schedule: Swing Shift; generally 5pm-12am, includes weekends and holidays Closing Date: February 19, 2021 Job Summary: Supervise shelf stockers and warehouse workers, to ensure safe and efficient job performance in compliance with contract requirements. Qualifications: Previous supervisory experience required, preferably in a retail grocery setting; Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English required; Basic computer skills required; Shelf Stocking and Warehouse experience preferred; Experience working with people with disabilities desirable. Must pass Federal Naval Base access and DSHS background checks; must pass pre-employment drug screen; must provide confirmation of authorization to work in the US. Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by our insurance company. This position also has specific physical requirements which are listed in the Position Description.
