Great opportunity to work with the best in the industry!! ICON is seeking reliable, experienced Automotive Mechanics with Welder / Fabricator skills to become an integral part of our team. We specialize in the repair, service, upgrade, and customization of high-end autos and restoration of vintage classics with a strong commitment to personalized customer service, honest communication, and top-quality work to fit customer's needs. Available shift is Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and no weekends. Location: Chatsworth CA Responsibilities and Duties: Must have experience working with vehicles (mechanical skills and theory) Body Retrofit (including door, panel and fender alignment) Drivetrain retrofit and conversion Chassis/Brakes assembly and theory Heavy gauge and sheet metal manipulation Proficiency in MIG and TIG Welding (mild, stainless and aluminum) Rust and damage repair Steering, fuel, cooling and intake systems Competence in diagnosing/troubleshooting Familiarity with lathes and End Mills Crate Motor (Installing crate motors) Qualifications and Skills: Automotive mechanic experience required Minimum 3 years experience with Fabricating and Welding Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record Must own tools Benefits: Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package: Health care, Vision, Dental, paid time off, paid holidays,401K.
