Job Description **Hiring Immediately** Job Description National data collection company is looking to fill an 2 entry-level positions (Traffic Data Field Technician and Traffic Data Driver). This position is for a contracted field technician with an opportunity for a full-time hourly position upon a 30-day review. This job requires travel throughout New York. Applicants must have an open schedule to accommodate weekday, daytime, nighttime or mixed work assignments. Upon hiring a valid driver's license and a clean driving record will be required. All applicants will receive a background check and must be able to pass a drug test. The applicant must be able and willing to lift 50 lbs. Thorough training will be provided for all study types and equipment handling. No prior experience is needed. Basic computer knowledge and good communication skills are needed for this position. Traffic Data Driver requires driving a company vehicle at night for a Traffic Data Field Technician and must be able to set up safety equipment including assisting in the installation process. Training will be for one day and take place in Albany, NY. Pay Rate for this position will be minimum wage. Traffic Data Field Technicians must be capable of learning about and installing traffic data equipment in selected roadways as needed. Most cases involve installing temporary cameras and tubing on street segments to record vehicle volumes. Training will be a week long and take place in Albany, NY. Pay Rate for this position will be $17 per hour.
