YARD FOREMAN: We are a scaffolding company based in Amityville, NY, looking for a Yard Foreman. This is a full-time, permanent position. (View our website at www.eaglescaffolding.com) Responsibilities Include: • Supervise and monitor the yard crew (approximately 4 - 6 men) • Administer all yard operations and ensure compliance to safety policies. • Monitor the loading of materials onto trucks, and unloading of materials back into inventory. Assist crew with material handling as necessary. • Ensure materials are counted accurately, handled and stored appropriately. • Monitor inventory of yard supplies and place orders as necessary. • Inspect materials and perform maintenance as necessary. • Coordinate with Management, Field Foremen and Office Staff Personal Attributes & Skills Required: • Strong leadership skills • Strong organizational skills • Willing to work outdoors • Ability to communicate well in English • Able to assist in lifting materials • Carpentry skills and scaffolding knowledge are helpful • Valid driver’s license required; and willing to obtain a CDL Class B License in order to move the trucks in our yard and the surrounding vicinity.
