Job Description Local warehouse distribution is seeking an experienced electric pallet jack operator. There will be not training must already know how to use a ride-on electric pallet jack. This opportunity is the chance to be included in a great team and an opportunity for full benefits. Position: Dry Picker (with experience with Electric Pallet Jack) Pay rate: $13.75/hour. Schedule: Mon-Friday 6 am-2:30 pm possibility for OT on Saturdays. Location: Hanover, MD. Not accessible by bus. Must drive or have reliable transportation. Start Date: ASAP KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Basic math skills to count products. Ability to read product labels and load sheets. Forklift certification, or ability to become certified (company provided). Ability to communicate directions to crew. Must be age 18 or older to operate baler, crusher, forklift, and electric pallet jack and to jockey trailers. WORKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS Frequently exposed to moving machinery such as forklifts. Frequently exposed to fumes and loud noise from forklifts and trucks. Exposed to temperature extremes in the warehouse. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions when moving trucks or loading doors are open. Frequently works extended hours (10+). Occasionally required to work weekends, particularly around holidays.
