The Groom Manager for Holiday Barn Pet Resorts is responsible for customer service, quality control of services provided, maintaining and growing revenue, team coaching and management. The Groom Manager will work closely with the Facility Manager and Holiday Barn Management Pack to achieve objectives and goals of the individual facility and the betterment of our company. The Groom Manager should be a leader with enthusiasm and encouragement that helps our staff and customers achieve the levels of satisfaction they need. The Groom manager is available to groom and style dogs as needed within the department. Requirements • 2 years experience professionally grooming pets • 2 years management experience • Flexibility: We are a resort, weekends and holidays are part of our work schedule. Mondays are also required work days for our grooming pack. • Customer Service skills. The groom manager meets with our customers to determine service needs, process appointments and resolve any issues. • Strong Communication skills. The groom manager must be able to instruct the groom pack, work with other managers and interact with customers in a professional manner. This workplace is typified as a moderately physical workplace: Loud noises, long periods of standing, repetitive arm motions and lifting of pets of 30 lbs are a part of this type of environment.
