Island Details Landscape & Maintenance provides management services in all areas of landscaping, including garden design & installation, cleanup & restoration, as well as a lawn care program. We also have a hardscape team that builds edible gardens, patios, paths, dry creeks, rock walls and more! We are seeking an experienced Gardener / Landscaper with experience in pruning or building hardscapes. This position if full time, Monday - Friday, with lots of opportunity for growth. RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintain all aspects of residential landscapes including weeding, mulching, mowing, blowing, edging, pruning and planting. - Apply fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides. - Meeting deadlines while still maintaining high standards. - Follow daily procedures for proper time keeping, and truck and tool check in & out. - Work outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions, maintaining a positive attitude and good sense of humor. - Report to crew lead to ensure the completion of daily maintenance, special projects, appropriate paperwork and customer requests. REQUIREMENTS - Minimum of two years experience preferred. - Knowledge of and ability to use landscaping and grounds maintenance tools. - Operating knowledge of walk-behind lawn mowers. - Ability to differentiate between weeds and ornamental plants. - Multitasking -Experience in small construction(rock walls, pathways, patios, etc.) & pruning a plus! - Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. -Must have valid Driver License.
