Premier Linen Company is a linen rental company, specializing in tablecloths and napkins that are washed and pressed and returned to customer. We get to see all the beautiful fabrics that are used for special events! We are hiring for several positions, starting as seasonal PT and FT positions from late March or early April through December. Seasonal jobs may become permanent for the right person. These jobs are outlined below. Please include either a resume or an outline of your job history. You MUST BE AVAILABLE on Mon/Tues/Wed each week, other days are flexible. We will need mornings, afternoons, and evenings, so specify your availability. JOB 1: Linen Production Associate: A. Tasks: 1) Work with a partner to feed tablecloths through the press. 2) Work independently to feed napkins through the press 3) Count and stack napkins and towels B. Qualifications: 1) Follow verbal directions 2) Work with a partner to accomplish the task; be a team player. 3) Speak and read English 4) Eyesight must be such that stains on linens can be seen for Quality Assurance. 5) Be able to work on your feet for the entire shift JOB 2: Linen Production Associate 2 (Expanded duties): A. Tasks: 1) Must be able to successfully complete all tasks of Linen Associate 1, and will be assigned these tasks as needed. 2) Be able to multi-task to move product through washers & dryers to have ready for staff to press. 3) Provide excellent customer service for customers picking up and returning linens. 4) Start washers and dryers. Follow the chart for various wash/dry cycles for various products. 5) Fold linens according to cloth size, place in the CORRECT stack, move to storeroom. 6) Assist with finalizing Customer-Owned Goods orders. 7) Count returned linens, note all missing items on the picklist. 8) Assist with preparing orders to go out. 9) Cross-train on other tasks as needed. B. Qualifications: In addition to all qualifications of Production Associate 1, this role requires: 1) Follow verbal and written directions 2) Work with the team to complete operations. Be able to give and take counsel and work with others to trouble-shoot or plan as needed. 4) Be able to recognize different sizes of linens, interacting with numbers regularly. 5) Follow processes for specific tasks, and understand how these processes interface with the larger operation. 6) Be able to count accurately.
