Do you love working with dogs? So do we! We are looking for someone to join our Doggin’ Around team! Someone who is an experienced, friendly, reliable, flexible, and hardworking dog lover. At Doggin’ Around Daycare, we believe dogs are family and we treat them as if they are our own. That means we provide a safe, clean and fun environment where our dogs can thrive! It also means that we are fanatics about cleanliness and work throughout the day to clean and disinfect all play areas – lots of dogs means lots of mess. Requirements: Applicants must… • Love dogs • Be able to start ASAP • Have a flexible schedule and be available to work morning, mid-day, nights and holidays. We cannot predict daily dog volumes so we may need you to come early or stay late on occasion • Be available 4 days a week – including 1 weekend day • Be responsible, reliable, honest, and able to work well independently and as a team • Thrive in a fast-paced environment • Have the ability to multitask, prioritize and know how to manage your time • Be able to take on heavy cleaning on a daily basis and clean up any mess – dogs are messy • Have a keen attention to detail. We are sometimes required to administer medications and instructions are always unique and specific • Be able to interact in a positive way with all sizes and types of dogs • Treat all human guests with respects and courtesy. We pride ourselves on giving excellent customer service • Able to work with your team to care for 40 – 60 dogs daily • Be a fast learner with lots of initiative; a dynamic, friendly, high energy and motivated individual • Be someone who WANTS to do an excellent job each day to go above and beyond for our dogs • Be able to be physically active the whole shift and be able to lift 50+ pounds • Be 18 years or older • If hired, you must have reliable means of transportation TEAMWORK AND A POSITIVE ARE A MUST IN OUR FACILITY!
