We are extremely busy building and maintaining our award-winning landscapes, just need great people who enjoy physical work and have a good attitude. Landscaping experience is a plus but not essential. * * * Landscape Professionals Needed in our Maintenance and Irrigation Division * * * Our company constructs and maintains beautiful and functional outdoor living spaces. As our valued employee in this hybrid role, you would be trained in landscape maintenance, pruning, plant identification; and other days you would be trained as an irrigation technician. All to help build and maintain high-end residential and commercial landscapes. Required qualifications: • Ability and desire to work safely and commit to a safe working culture • Must be able to overhead lift 25 - 40(+) lbs several times/day • Working efficiently and taking direction from crew leader to complete tasks. • Ability to prioritize tasks and think ahead. We are especially looking for those with the following: • Bi-lingual – Especially English/Spanish • A Pesticide Applicator license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire (company covers fee) • Experience using mowers, edgers, string-trimmers, hedge shears, and blowers • Proficiency in detailed raking, weeding, and cleanup • Basic knowledge of plant/weed identification • Basic knowledge of fertilization of lawns and plants • Desire to maintain your landscapes with confidence, vision, and passion • Strong communication skills with co-workers, customers and public • Use of trenching equipment and hand-digging for water lines and boxes • Measuring, cutting and gluing pvc pipes • Installation of valve boxes, valves, controllers, and low voltage wiring • Learning and performing the math for ‘perfect’ watering • Installing, repairing & maintaining drip irrigation systems • Irrigation employees must be diligent diggers and use math skills with precision.
