We have a beautiful mix breed of pit bull and Australian Shepherd. We've had him since he was born and we got him for the children. But he got to a point where he wanted to play rougher than usual, he's not agressive, but he doesn't like hugs around the neck. He's never been abused or beaten or anything like that. He's great around larger dogs and he absolutely loves to play. He really enjoy running and we've got him trained (for the most part) on the leash. He tends to be the lead and pull you around but I never have the time to really work with him. We're letting him go because we planned on having a house by this time but finances wouldn't allow us, he needs a yard with running room. Let alone, the kids wanted smaller animals and lost interest. We hate having to do this but it's best for him. He's a protective dog too, he can hear very well when someones walking down the sidewalk and will alert you at any point in time. He's been known to wake us up for a possible intruder, all false alarms though. But he's a really good dog. The only down side he's really got is when everyone's in bed, he likes to chew on everything including our clothes, so we have to put him in his crate at night. His name is Jesse. He's been microchipped, has all of his shots but it might be time for a booster. We're asking for a small adoption fee of $75 to insure a good home with good owners. We will absolutely refuse anyone who we suspect to use him for animal fighting, be abusive, etc.
