A borough-wide campaign is looking for hourly-paid canvassers to help in our petitioning efforts. This role will be expected to interact regularly face-to-face with voters. Hours: Paid Canvassers may be required to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends and nights. A minimum of 8 hours a week is required. Our petitioning program runs from March 2nd-March 23rd, for a total of three weeks. Qualifications: Availability for a minimum of 8 hours per week, or two shifts, during the weeks you can work. Demonstrate commitment to a grassroots campaign. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Requirements: Must be a registered Democrat in the state of New York and 18+ years old! YOU CANNOT DO THIS JOB IF YOU ARE NOT A REGISTERED DEMOCRATIC VOTER!
