Guys after a year of business being shut down, I don't see a problem at the very beginning of helping out breweries, bars, rest etc that have live music. be prepared to step in and help to get things going. does it suck, Yes but with business currently, they are hurting just as much as musicians if not more so. no there is no break on rent for these business and some had to reach in to their own pockets to survive. No one is asking you to play for free if you don't want to, but be prepared to continue waiting as some business try to get them selves back on track. and the bands and artist willing to help will probably get first dibs at paying gig as they come. As things open up there is a good chance for you to make money form the door if you have or had a following, if not then more than likely you would be short lived any ways, these places are business and if you cant draw, you wont be asked back (these are real paid gigs)
