I’ve been playing guitar for more than 15 years, and have been teaching lessons professionally since my days as a music student at Indiana University. I specialize in helping intermediate and advanced players who are looking to take their abilities to the next level, but if you’re just getting started I'm here to show you what you need to know to start playing. No matter if you're just getting started, or you're an advanced player with tons of experience, I can't wait to show you what you need to know to take your abilities to the next level. I’d love to help you with your goals by working together on a lesson plan that’s tailored to your musical interests and taste. I charge on a sliding scale of $20-30 for half hour lessons, and $45-60 for an hour. Please feel comfortable paying at a rate that feels best for you. And because I want to give you a chance to find out if we’re a good fit for each other, every first lesson is free! I teach all lessons online using Zoom. I offer lessons for all ages and abilities on acoustic and electric guitar, ukulele, mandolin, and lap steel guitar. I also teach beginner bass and keyboards.
