Description

We are an equipment rental company that delivers rental equipment in the shore regions between the coastal regions of North Myrtle Beach down through Pawley's Island, which includes Myrtle Beach, Surfside, and more. We are looking for W-9 contract drivers who will be called as-needed to deliver and pickup this small equipment using your own pickup truck or cargo van. PAY: We take reservations and handle the customers, but we are looking for W-9 delivery drivers. You will track your own time and bill us at a rate of $25/hr while you are actively hauling equipment to or from a customer location, or preparing it for the rental customer (wiping it down to clean). This $25/hr rate has the mileage/gas reimbursement built in. In addition to the time spent while the equipment is in your possession (cleaning or hauling), you will also be compensated for your time to get from home to storage or the customer, and for your time to get back home after the delivery/pickup is completed, with a CAP of 20 minutes each way (40 minutes total per job in addition to time spent with equipment in posession). In other words, someone who lives an hour from the area is not really a compatible candidate, unless you want to commute without pay. We can't pay you to commute from 2 hours away. DRIVER MUST OWN AND DRIVE A PICKUP TRUCK (SUCH AS AN F-150 SIZED TRUCK), OR CARGO VAN, OR HAVE A TRAILER TO MOVE THE EQUIPMENT USING A SMALLER TYPE OF VEHICLE. We have ramps that you can borrow if necessary to load equipment onto your pickup truck, but they cannot be lifted as they are heavy. This is a side gig, not a full time job.
