We are a privately owned and operated country club nestled inside Preston, a premier residential community located in the heart of Cary, NC. We have 15 tennis courts: 9 on property + 6 in Cary Parkway Facility. If you are a friendly, outgoing team player, apply now we would love to hear from you! The tennis maintenance staff is responsible for the daily upkeep of the tennis courts and tennis facilities.  The tennis maintenance staff makes certain that the necessary equipment for the maintenance and upkeep of the club/courts/facilities is on hand and properly maintained.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  Sweep clay courts daily, morning and afternoon. Blow off sidewalk around tennis courts after sweeping courts.(AM & PM) Wipe off benches in the morning before play begins. Fold towels throughout the day and keep towel bin full with towels and cups. (AM & PM) Empty garbage cans on and around tennis courts and tennis building daily. Pull weeds, keep water boxes and under fences free of weeds and leaves. Wipe down tables with glass cleaner around tennis courts. Pick up broken tie wraps from ground and make sure all windscreens have a tie wrap in every hole. Pick up stray balls from around courts as well as trash. Travel to satellite facility by car or golf cart and perform the same duties as listed above Communicate daily issues with on duty tennis staff.        JOB SPECIFICATIONS:    Knowledge of general handyman skills including but not limited to carpentry, gardening, painting, equipment repair, washing windows, general cleaning and repair. Display excellent communication skills with coworkers as well as members. Must be available to work 25-29 hours per week (includes 1 weekend day per week). You MUST pass a background check, drug screening and be eligible to work in the USA.
