I'm a volunteer dog walker at the Wake County Animal Shelter and wanted to post about this wonderful young dog that's currently there waiting on a new home. Her name is Betsy and she's not quite 2 years old. Betsy quickly stole the hearts of staff and volunteers with her soft and gentle personality. She is very affectionate and loves people. She bonds quickly and is eager to please. Betsy has been extremely well behaved in her kennel, waiting patiently for visitors. She is not a large dog, she is medium sized and has a great energy about her. Betsy walks perfectly on a leash without pulling and would make an excellent walking partner. This girl deserves a special family. If you have room in your home and heart for a great young dog, please visit Betsy as soon as possible.
