Summary: This position's primary function is to help operate and tend to machines which shape and create various types of metal products. Responsibilities: Help prepare machine/machines/press/furnace for production and assisting in repairs if necessary. Help to meet production deadlines by following manufacturing schedule and procedures and resolving production problems when they arise. Maintain a safe working environment by utilizing safety applications and keeping all work areas clean. Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive attitude! Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and be able to stand for 10 hours per day High School Diploma/GED or technical school degree Team participation Willingness and ability to learn and understand production processes Flexibility in performing different job duties as they pertain to the needs of the team Computer skills Attention to detail Great Hand to eye Coordination. Schedule: Day shift is 5:30am-4:00pm, Swing shift is 4:30pm-2:30am - it is preferred that candidates be available to work both shifts but not required. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity.
