Maintenance Person / Maintenance Tech for Rental Properties -This is a part-time position with about 20-25 hours/week. -Must be willing to work some weekends. This job is intended to be 5 days per week from approx. 11:00 am - 4:00 pm and will include at least 1 weekend day. Hourly Pay is $17-$19/hr. Bonus opportunities available for after hours service calls at $22/hour+. -Please submit a resume if you are interested in this position. Do not apply if you: Do not have at least 1 year previous experience in maintenance; Do not have a smart phone; Do not have your own transportation; Cannot work occasional nights, weekends or on-call; Do not own basic hand tools; Do not enjoy or are not able to work independently with little supervision. -We are looking for a motivated individual to oversee maintenance and maintenance person task at multiple short-term rental and Airbnb properties. This individual would be responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks at various properties and reporting the progress of these issues using an app on their smartphone. The individual must be highly organized with good communication skills. -This is a fast-growing, start-up company with high growth potential. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: -Maintaining Rental Properties -Ability to learn skills and complete maintenance and light repair/assembly tasks (furniture assembly, TV mounting, heavy lifting, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and light electrical tasks) in a timely and efficient manner. -Perform and track certain maintenance tasks on a smartphone using our maintenance app, Breezeway. -Perform pickup and delivery of furniture, inventory, and supplies. -Perform on-site inspections on Columbus area Short-term rental properties. -Identify areas of improvement, and facilitate a response using problem-solving skills. Skills needed for success: -Are able to perform a variety of home improvement tasks independently. Basic maintenance knowledge and skills required. -Have your own hand tools and power tools. -The applicant needs to have a smartphone and be knowledgeable with mobile apps. -All the work is done at multiple properties (all located in the Columbus, Ohio area), so any applicant also needs a reliable method of transportation. -Must speak English and be authorized to work -Being highly organization, possessing problem-solving skills and an eye for detail is a plus.
