NOW HIRING. An immediate opening is available for the right candidate that can maintain responsibility for a small warehouse in Ontario, CA. The warehouse duties are rather minimal, however, maintaining an organized warehouse is required in or order to expediate product preparedness for the installation teams. As a vital member of the organization, the duties of this position are to make sure products are inventoried, received and staged for the installation team. This position will crossover into assisting other office duties when needed. The warehouse/delivery clerk maintains overall responsibility of the warehouse operations, material management and is the go between the purchasing and installation teams. Additional responsibilities include pickups and deliveries, office assistance and maintaining records for company owned vehicles for maintenance. Team player. Excellent time management skills. Able to read and write English. Acceptable driving record as operating company vehicles is a requirement. Duties of the position: Be on time and punctual, ready to work upon arrival each day. Minimal forklift operating will be required to occasionally receive products from delivery. Company will train. Organize warehouse and maintain. Conduct cycle counts when needed to maintain inventory control of stored products. Track fleet vehicle maintenance and rotate vehicles into repair as needed. Work with purchasing on project managers on maintaining stock levels and staging orders as needed. Pickup/delver materials from local distributors as needed via company fleet vehicles. Verify deliveries and receive material into inventory system. Fill up company vehicles with gas and remove debris as needed. Assist office staff with special projects. Manage office supplies for a small office. Manage time properly to enable for rapid adjustments in duties due to situations that require expedited material needs. Required capabilities: The ideal candidate will have a number of qualities that can support the efforts required, including: Self-motivated – Can work independently with minimal supervision. Well organized – Able to create a fluid warehouse of varying product sizes and quantities and maintain an organized warehouse full of all products required. Order picking – Setup staging areas for rapid technician deployment. Inventory stocking – Receive material and re-organize and stock accordingly. Multi-task oriented – Areas of priority will adjust the day to day schedule of this position. It is imperative that this position can retain the ability to jump off of a task and jump right back on without issue. Software capable – Able to utilize tools such as email and inventory systems to maintain an accurate inventory system. Dependable – Due to material deliveries and technician dispatch, it is imperative that this person is on-time every day and ready to work. Efficient – When completing pickups/deliveries, the efficiency of being able to pickup/drop off/deliver and return to assigned tasks is required. Team player – Able to work well with purchasing, project management and field technicians. Creative – Able to create areas to stay busy in between other tasks (i.e. inventory adjustments, office maintenance, assist other employees with tasks, etc.). Overall support for office and field technicians. Maintain service records on vehicles and manage maintenance via fleet service contract. Company provides: 40+ hours a week. Overtime opportunities.
