Description
Immediate opening for entry level. This is a full time, temporary position for up to 6 months. Learn to identify and treat tree and shrubs ailments. Skills and contacts gained from this position provide an excellent springboard for career advancement in the green industries, including nursery, landscape and arboriculture.
After being fully trained in the safe operation of all equipment and the proper use of organic and chemical pesticides, the successful candidate will be assigned a daily route and provide pre-sold management services to clients located in the Los Angeles basin.
Duties: Safely operate commercial tree and spray equipment. Learn to recognize and treat basic insect, disease and nutrition problems of landscape trees and shrubs. Working independently and complete service route.
Qualifications: Valid Diver License with clean record. Ability to operate 1-ton truck. Good physical condition. QAL desirable but not prerequisite.
Basic shift Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.
