Ron Johnson is the root of "the light bulb joke". See, one day his maid was away when his light went out, so the bright lad of 19 years decided to change his own bulb.....(does anyone else remember this story?)....well, he finds a replacement light bulb, takes out the old, wets his right index finger and proceeds to "clean out the socket", totally unaware that the switch was still in the on position. The maid found Ron on the floor, dazed, but still clutching the new light bulb.. It was right then and there that he decided to get into politics. His campaign.?...."There has to be a better way to change a lightbulb!" And thus the old saying...How many Republicans does it take to change a light bulb? ?....As many as is needed until one is found with a maid.
