Responsible for the prescribed high quality of cremation. Other responsibilities include assisting with other operational duties, troubleshooting machine basic performance, making adjustments and calling for additional resources as required. This individual will use their knowledge and tools to develop the commercially successful design for the paw print creation. The team member will also load kilns, glaze, decorate and fire the ceramic paw prints. Apply protective or decorative finishes to products Position raw materials on processing or production equipment Shape clay to create products Smooth surfaces of finished pieces using a variety of tools Examine finished ware for defects and ensure that it meets the company’s standards Perform test-fires of pottery to determine how to achieve specific colours and potentially textures Operate drying chambers to dry or finish molded pieces Monitor equipment operation to ensure proper functioning Help to maintain supplies of tools, equipment, materials as needed, may be required to order them Use of Paws-e-Track software to maintain accurate accounts of all orders Verify accuracy of shapes and sizes of all prints and ensure they meet the high-quality standards of the company Paint paw prints Clean up work area on a daily basis Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of high school diploma, however a college diploma is a large asset Solid design and conceptual skills Effective written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback from superiors. Effective deadline management and project management skills. Ability to be creative and think outside the box Able to identify priorities and act accordingly Role requires applicant to have a valid drivers license, and ability to drive if/when needed.
