How is it we see such opposite sides when the facts are clear?

You post from your beliefs, which are antithetical to the truth. How can we both see the facts yet you deceive yourself with false interpretations of the same events? You refuse to think, only react to provocations from trump and his republican ilk. The facts are that for 5 years trump has stoked the fears of marginalized Americans, primarily males, until he has created a group of supporters that are willing to ignore facts and believe only what their identity figure (trump) tells them. That is a dangerous premise! There has been a slow escalation of trump rhetoric, beginning with dividing and making one segment of society the scapegoats for the other segment to blame for their failing successes. Trump has taken the exact same path as hitler, and his supporters are too ignorant of history to see the similarities. Americans fought and defeated fascism along with the whole world. But it seems there is a segment of Americans that think authoritarianism is better than democracy. It is not! The reason you are unable to see the same lawlessness, ruthlessness and hate that I see is because you embrace it! You are in the cult, you have isolated yourself from truth, fact, empathy and compassion for anyone non-white. I feel sadness that you are unreachable with facts and for your estrangement from your families and friends for your un-American beliefs. Think a moment, if you are still capable of independent thought, you must consider the “What if...”. What if you have allowed yourself to be deceived by a master manipulator and con man? What if you have made a huge mistake because you got caught up in blame and just plan racism? Because you have made a bad choice by listening to your closet-racist thoughts. You have allowed yourself to become a member of the cult of trump and that closes your mind to anything or anyone that might get you to listen to reason. I am honestly sorry that you are not reachable because this is the time America needs every true patriot. America is a nation built on the premise of equality and it is time that ideal was recognized and worked toward. Inclusivity and equality coupled with empathy and compassion build relationships among citizens. It takes real compromise by legislators interested in the betterment of all their constituents. Racism does nothing but divide us further. Don’t be like donnie.
