I am looking to hire a carpenter full time. Needs to have a variety of skills, my company does a mixture of framing, roofing, siding, trim work, tile, flooring, doors/windows, minor electrical and plumbing, finishing drywall in a timely fashion is a plus. Candidates need to be able to read a tape measure and be able to use power tools safely, and must have own hand-tools, driver's license and transportation. I expect the person to be clean-cut and reliable. My company is a small company so i need to be able to depend on the person. I cant have the person calling out and constantly taking the day off. 90% of the work will be in the peninsula Hampton Roads area/Williamsburg. Work on the southside is limited. pay will be based upon experience 10-16/hr. Work is full time and will be paid out weekly, first paycheck is held, position is 1099.
