Join a Depression and Alcohol Use Research Study

This research study is testing the effectiveness of a combination of medications in reducing alcohol consumption and symptoms of depression. These medications have already been approved by the FDA for a different use and have shown promise in reducing symptoms of depression. This study has been reviewed and approved by the Human Studies Subcommittee. Participants will be compensated $520 for participating in this study. Learn More: Who can join? Veterans aged 21 to 65 years old who have depression and struggle with alcohol use. Must have at least 4 heavy drinking sessions in the past month. Able to attend 11 study visits at the research site over approximately 5 months.
