A journey into the Latin American drum culture and its fusion with African rhythms. Who are we?

Marcos Espinoza (@marcosafrocodigos)
Willie Quintana (@el_willie_quintana)
Roberto Verde (@robertoverdeg)
We are going to introduce you to some rhythms which are: A) Sangueo (Carabobo), B) Borburata, C) San Millan, and D) Golpe de tambor de San Millan. We’ll then combine them with rhythms from Brazil, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Peru, among others.
In this workshop you will play along with us, do exercises, and also have the opportunity to show us a rhythm from your country so we can fusion it.
Let’s drum!
