Integrated Floral Services, LLC is searching for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Bedford, NH. IFS is in need of an ambitious and hardworking individual who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions and can work an entire shift on his or her feet. We prize speed and accuracy above all else, so we require a Warehouse worker who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. Schedule: • Sunday - 6am-4:30pm • Monday - 10am-4:30pm • Tuesday - off • Wednesday - 6am-6:30pm • Thursday - 10am-4:30pm • Friday - 10am-4:30pm • Saturday – off o Schedule changes and hours increase during floral holidays Responsibilities: • Physical loading and unloading of product in varying sizes and weights using a pallet jack, forklift, and at times by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, bending, twisting, kneeling in a safe and efficient manner. • Utilize a forklift and pallet jack to unload pallets of product from trucks • Organizing product to prepare for picking & packing • Identify damaged product and notify supervisor immediately • Utilizing a pick ticket, pick items by pulling cases from slots/bays and placing them on a pallet in an organized manner. Case weight averages 20-30lbs but can go up to 50lbs. • Prepare orders for shipping by shrink wrapping pallets, pulling full pallets with a pallet jack, and loading pallets on trucks in route order. • Treat product with care and concern at all times. • Comply with all company policies and procedures • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse at all times ensuring a safe and organized work space. • Following proper documentation and safety procedures of all warehouse functions • Other duties as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor.
