Are your trees and shrubs getting unruly or non-productive? Unsure what you really need for creating quality vegetable and flower starts? Join us for a 2-part pruning and seed-starting workshop in the Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point! Taught by USU faculty and Master Gardeners, this workshop will give you more confidence to tackle those trees and shrubs, and help you understand the essentials to start quality plants indoors to get a jump on spring.
There are four class time options. Register for ONE ONLY:
1. Friday March 12th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NOON
2. Friday March 12th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
3. Saturday March 13th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NOON
4. Saturday March 13th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Basic pruning and seed starting will be taught in a rotation. Classes will be divided into two groups, one group will start with pruning, and the other with seed-starting, and switch places after 50 minutes. This workshop is included with your registration in the Master Gardener class. REGISTRATION IS ONLY OPEN TO 2020 AND 2021 UTAH COUNTY MASTER GARDENER CLASS MEMBERS. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are NOT able to accommodate spouses or guests who are not enrolled in either of these Master Gardener classes. Enrollment numbers must be strictly limited and enforced.
