Even in David's failures, God called him a man after His own heart. The Bible calls us to do the same. When we think about the life of David, many titles come to mind. David was a giant slayer, a warrior, a poet, and a King. But, David wasn't perfect; he was flawed, broken, sinful, and in desperate need of a Savior. Even in David's failures, God called him a man after His own heart. David pursued God and lived a life longing after God. The Bible calls us to do the same. Men, join Fireside Ministries for the 2020 Brother's Keeper weekend scheduled for May 22, 2021. We will explore David's victories and shortcomings, and ultimately the faithfulness of God throughout his life.
