We are looking for an apprentice carpenter to assist lead carpenter in multi-family remodels and soft-story retrofits JOB DUTIES: - Renovation process from demo to clean up - Fixture installation and installing cabinets - Window and door installation - Baseboards and crown molding - Framing - Occasional materials pickup and transfer - Cover the driving area of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties MUST HAVES: - 2+ years of carpentry experience - Ability to measure and cut with precision - Experience framing floors, walls, ceilings, roofs - Experience operating circular saw, reciprocating saw, chop saw, nail gun - Valid drivers license - Truck or Van - Tools (Levels, tape measure, drill, nail bar, framing hammer, square, etc) JOB DETAILS: - Rate: $25 p/h - Full time/40 hours - Paid weekly - Typical work week M-F 8:00AM to 4:30PM - We are looking for people dedicated to becoming journeymen carpenters
