Exciting stained glass mosaic art workshop for the beginner & previous students. Our workshops aim to stimulate your creativity, bring out hidden talents, teach new skills and grow old ones! In this exciting class, not only will you create a beautiful personalized stained glass mosaic, you'll learn how to use stained glass aesthetics and design principles to help you expand your artistic toolkit. This is a fun activity that any skill level can enjoy and benefit from. Graduates of this class may re-enroll in it to hone their skills on a new project, or another option is our self-supervised, open studio "Hangout" sessions available on other dates. With this ticket you receive workspace, instruction, a 6x8 canvas board, pattern paper & carbon paper to transfer your design, glue, and use of our tools. Glass for projects will be selected and purchased separately. Glass cutting is optional. Tulsa Stained Glass offers a huge assortment of pre-cut glass to fit most stained glass designs. You'll also have a variety of larger glass pieces to work with, and we'll demonstrate how to chop glass pieces to fit a pattern. Doors open at 10:00 am to get your project/design selected and additional materials purchased. Instruction starts at 10:30 am and the workspace will be open until noon. Not finished by noon? No problem...project is easy to finish at home. Authentic stained glass sheets are hand-picked and painstakingly hand-cut, with no two pieces alike. We offer entertaining workshops unlike any other in Tulsa! COVID-19 Precautions: Your health is a top priority so we're keeping workshop sizes small to allow for social distancing and are disinfecting surfaces regularly. Please bring a face mask. Face masks are required in the studio in accordance with City of Tulsa regulations. The Fine Print: We recommend kids be at least 8 years old due to the risks of working with small glass pieces. All minors need to be accompanied by an adult, and all attendees must have a paid ticket.Closed toe shoes recommended. Glass in shoes = ouch!Participants are required to sign a Personal Injury/COVID-19 Waiver and an Intellectual Property Waiver upon arrival at the studio.Rescheduling- there is a $8 fee for changing your class date once registered.
