Each participant will build a mini-stained glass project and explore the design techniques of stained glass to expand their artistry. About the Class: Make and take home a beautiful authentic stained glass hanging ring project in the first 3 hours of this class. We'll teach you about stained glass, design, rough cutting, soldering, and assembly in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. There will be a 30-minute lunch break after this portion of the workshop. After lunch, we will branch out into design technique in more detail. You'll learn how to use stained glass aesthetics and design principles to help you expand your artistic toolkit. You receive expert knowledge & leadership gained from 45 years of experience at Tulsa Stained Glass. Our organized structure, instructional tools, and class sizes make for an optimal learning experience. All project materials and use of studio tools are included in the workshop price. COVID-19 Precautions: Your health is a top priority for us so we're keeping workshop sizes small to allow for social distancing and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Gloves will be available. Face masks are encouraged. The Fine Print: We recommend participants be at least 16 years old due to the risks of working with glass and soldering irons. All minors need to be accompanied by an adult and all attendees must have a paid ticket.Closed toe shoes recommended.
