We are Union Marine, a well-established and respected boat dealership in the Milton/Fife area and we are looking to fill TWO full time Detailer/General Laborer positions. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Detail new boats to shine; boats should be as clean and presentable as possible • Complete all items on Detail Request Forms and sign/date form • Notify Sales Manager of any flaws or damage noted during work • Inform Sales Manager of supply needs in a timely manner • Maintain dealership equipment in top condition • Participate in showroom and boat show projects and assist Facility Manager with special projects. • Work overtime when projects and sales schedule require it • Follow company policies and procedures • Parking lot and general grounds and landscaping maintenance • Empty outside trash containers regularly • Assist with daily Sales department Covid cleaning, including sanitizing showroom boats, restroom cleaning and emptying of trash receptacles. • Be on time for regular work days and special assignments • Use time clocks or computers to record arrival and departure times, including lunch. Hand written times must be signed by Sales Manager • Review your time worked data in ADP at end of every week to ensure accurateness. Immediately report discrepancies to Sales Manager • Check in and out with Sales Manager for lunch, breaks or at the end of the day • Check in with Sales Manager at the beginning of the day for work assignments • Update Sales Manager at the end of the day with work progress • Maintain a good working relationship with all Service, Parts and Sales personnel HOUSEKEEPING AND SAFETY: • Follow all safety rules and regulations • Use and store cleaning chemicals safely and efficiently per manufacturers’ instructions • Assist in all shop cleaning and maintenance: floors, lot, and shop vehicles SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION: • Reliable and conscientious. “Do it right the first time” attitude • Ability to follow instructions and ask for assistance if needed • Experience with boat and/or auto detailing is preferred • Forklift and boat towing capabilities preferred • Must hold valid Washington State drivers license INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING FOR THESE POSITIONS: Please come to our facility on Friday, March 5th or Saturday, March 6th (this coming weekend) to apply in person between the hours of 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
