As the City of Fife prepares to reopen City buildings to the public, we are recruiting for a part-time, seasonal Janitorial Support Specialist to assist us in ensuring safe facilities for employees and citizens. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The incumbent will perform janitorial tasks in City buildings, offices, restrooms and related facilities in a clean and sanitary manner; complete assignments by verbal or written instructions, and according to established policies and procedures; work independently and part of a team; contribute through knowledge, skills and good work habits.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or equivalent and one year of paid work experience performing custodial and general building maintenance activities, or any combination of experience, education and training that would provide the level of knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Experience performing custodial work preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/ TRAINING:
Must successfully pass a background check.
Valid Washington Driver’s License. Must have a good driving record.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Possession of, or the ability to obtain and maintain, a valid basic First Aid and CPR certification card.
