Bald Head Island Limited, LLC is looking for a Maintenance Worker I. This is a regular full-time position with benefits. Under direct supervision, performs a variety of unskilled to semi-skilled tasks in connection with the maintenance, repair and cleaning of buildings, grounds, and equipment. Work performed independently is limited to sub-journey level tasks of a routine nature. The position may assist higher-level maintenance personnel engaged in electrical, plumbing, building, mechanical and other trades related functions. Assignments are received in oral and written form. Reports to a shift-supervisor. Ability to read and write English and one year experience performing a variety of tasks in minor maintenance and housekeeping of buildings, grounds and facilities; or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license. Requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
