Peak Services Colorado is looking to hire an irrigation supervisor. The Irrigation Supervisor must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of irrigation maintenance to include: controllers and valves, pressure testing, repairing heads, valves, main and lateral lines, drip line, bubblers, etc.; operating equipment, ordering correct materials, and interfacing with customers, subcontractors, sales teams, etc. Requires minimal supervision and conducts all jobs in a safe manner while directing a crew of two to four employees. The Irrigation Supervisor must also attend to and complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job while creating and maintaining a professional job atmosphere. Responsibilities include: Has a minimum of three years of experience in irrigation management. Thoroughly understands all aspects of irrigation management as outlined above. Able to operate company equipment. Able to perform all daily preventative maintenance (PM) on company equipment. Has the leadership capability and demeanor to effectively manage and direct a crew of two to four people. Ensures that jobs are kept on schedule and on budget. Interfaces with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of job materials. Maintains a clean crew truck at all times. Able to fill out and process all necessary job paperwork, purchase orders, and time sheets, etc. Able to interact with clients, subcontractors, sales team, etc. in a professional and competent manner. Able to train crew as a team and maintain a high level of morale. Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies, procedures Able to work with minimal supervision from Operations Manager, but knows when to ask for assistance. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: High school diploma or GED certification Valid drivers license with clean driving record Must be able to understand, read, write and speak fluent English Ability to use computer, tablet and knowledge of emails and texting Experience working productively with little supervision Strong organizational skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional long hours as needed 2-5 years industry experience Knowledge of irrigation system, irrigation parts and proper names Ability to use a wire locator and wire toner Ability to program an irrigation controller with multiple taps Ability to install an irrigation controller Ability to solder copper pipes • Ability to work under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities and without supervision. • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and possibly, although rarely, holidays should the workload warrant.Equipment to be Used: pvc saws, poly cutters, 521 or newer wire locator, screw drivers, shovels, trenchers, skid steer, mini X Working Conditions: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, squat, kneel, crawl, use a two-step stool, bend and twist at waist, work overhead, sitting, and laying on ground Prolonged sitting, standing and walking.
