Please help ORION. I cannot give this dog the care her needs. He is a Springer Spaniel Mix. Born in 2008 He has diabetes,is blind, takes two shots a day of insulin. He needs attention and care 24/7. The Vet has seen him and say he is healthy. He was left to me by my ex and I am not home enough to help this dog. He is being disruptive (seperation anxiety) because he is not getting attention. He will come with all his belongings. I don't want to post them here cause I want him to be taken for himself and not what someone can get for free by taking him and discarding him. If no one will step up I will have to let the vet put him to sleep. I cannot keep this dog. For me to keep him means he will be in a cage most of his day. We have tried and tried to find a shelter but no place will take him either because of his age or ailment or height. Don't come to me and say find a shelter. We tried of 12 places in the state. So take him, or find a place that absolutely will or dont bother. Thanks.
