Retired guy in Hoover seeking another musician/vocalist who knows folk music or would enjoy learning some of the folk songs of the 60's (The Kingston Trio, Peter Paul and Mary; Bob Dylan; Simon and Garfunkel; Gordon Lightfoot, etc.) as well as some acoustic rock and country. I have been playing acoustic guitar (flatpicking and fingerpicking) most of my life. Another player who can vocalize and play guitar would be my first preference, however any related acoustic instrument player (banjo, fiddle, mandolin, bass, etc.) and sings songs that would fit the music would be acceptable. Age and gender are irrelevant. I prefer jamming during the day, or weekdays. I'm just interested in having some fun making music and singing.
