MOUNT VERNON, NY — Due to an issue with the boiler and the forecast for temperatures below freezing, Mount Vernon officials decided to close City Hall on Tuesday. Staff will be available by phone and all scheduled meetings have been converted to virtual, officials said. Check city social media pages and the website for updates. "We're sorry for this inconvenience. Please be patient as we work to remedy the situation," officials said.
