Arlington Reservoir Renovation Project Enters Second Phase

ARLINGTON, MA — The second phase of the Arlington Reservoir Renovation Project is underway, the Park and Recreation Commission announced Tuesday. This phase will be broken up into multiple steps, with step one being the bathhouse renovation. The bathhouse will be renovated prior to the 2021 beach season. During this phase, a portion of the beach will be closed, but beach access will be available for residents. Step two will take place during the beach season and will include work on the perimeter path and bank stabilization. After the beach season, the third part will include the parking lot, boat ramp, beach area upgrades, playground renovation and picnic pavilion. The project is expected to be completed by May 2022. Steps two and three of the project are currently out to bid, with bids due March 10.
