Looking for an Assistant Construction Superintendent to complete the construction of assigned projects, safely, on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients; with supervision and support from a General Field Manager. You will monitor budgets, collaborate with construction workers, architects, and engineers, and implement quality, health, and safety standards on site. You will monitor job sites and document projects. What this job involves: Collaborate with the project team, including project managers, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to determine project needs Plan construction processes Monitor and report on project progress Obtain construction permits from local authorities Ensure all subcontractors are following OSHA guidelines and company safety policy and procedures Champion quality control on the project through pre-task meetings, first work in place review, and critical review of installed work. Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly Resolve on-site issues and emergencies Participate in the review of all project documents for constructability and content Coordinate building and subcontractor inspections Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings What you will bring to the team: Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in supervising construction projects Experience in metal building structures preferred In-depth knowledge of health laws and safety requirements Thorough understanding of the construction industry, planning and scheduling, and building trades and sequence of work Demonstrated ability to read plans and specifications Excellent communication skills Recognized success in time management and multitasking Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel What you can expect from us: We train our team members to be the best in the business through an open door management style and a mentorship approach.
