MILFORD, CT — The old ShopRite building at 155 Cherry St. has a new tenant. G Mart, which is an Asian megamarket, recently opened at the former grocery store site, which moved up the road a few years ago to a much larger building, the New Haven Register reports. The store includes a wide array of produce, meats, seafood, soy, noodles, tea, spices and much more including desserts, the Register reports. The market is open from 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. seven days a week. The market is garnering strong early reviews from customers. "So happy for a Chinese supermarket in southern ct," one person wrote in a review left on Google. "Prices are veggies are great and wild selection. Place is very clean and a lot of space to socially distance from other shoppers." Another reviewer said, "Great produce! Lots of vegetables that I haven't seen anywhere else locally, and it all looked fantastic. Really nice fish counter too, including live dungeness crab.
