MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Xavier High School graduate was recently reunited with his class ring after losing at a beach 39 years ago, according to WTNH News 8. WTNH reports Dan Hoey, of Old Saybrook, was a junior at Xavier High School in Middletown when he lost the ring one summer day at Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island. The days and years went by until Hoey got a call from Xavier's Alumni Office two weeks ago with the news that they had his long-lost ring. Turns out, a Florida woman who used to work at Misquamicut found the ring while cleaning her attic and contacted Xavier alumni, and together they tracked down Hoey, according to WTNH.
